Drawing a line in Drupal

The map above has been generated using GMap Macro, all the other charts on the website are created using views, views panes and panel pages hence the map is generated by the GMap_Views.module.
How do I draw a static line as in the map above when creating a view, I'm happy to modify the GMAP_Views.module if necessary.

Queing at the supermarket

To give you an idea of how long, imagine you are queing at the supermarket and you have 15 people ahead of you, all with a fully loaded trolley, each with a week's worth of shopping for a family of six, and then as they pay, every single item is missing the bar code and has to be checked manually, plus there are promotions with vouchers on most items, they'll all pay cash in small coins, the checkout girl is new and the scale is broken so all the fruits have to be sent off for weighing at another till...
