50 North, 11 West

Progress has been good so far, i'm only 140 miles from my waypoint at 50
North 15 West... the sun is shining the pressure has risen a bit and had
the chance to dry all the stuff that got wet yesterday. I know there is
a low just ahead of me in the west, it's hard to tell but my guess is
that it will pass north of me so as soon as the pressure will start
dropping i'll be in strengthening south westerlies.
At this rate tomorrow this time i'll be thinking about what to do next,
I cant go further than 15W otherwise i'll have no insurance cover which
doesnt seem like a good idea as this is just training, i'll have plenty
of uninsured sailing next year in Ostar. So I'm thinking of going to the
M3 Meteorogical buoy, south west of the Fastnet, then depending on how
long it took me and how many more days i wish to stay at sea i can
easily add 200 miles by beating back to the K2 buoy before heading home.
I believe there will be even less traffic on the way to M3 as that bit
south of Ireland is pretty much out of commercial routes.
By the way, i'm now stepping off the continental shelf so i have a 1000
meters under me, soon 2 then 3 thousand, i'm in Ocean proper. This also
explains the large fishing boat (with no AIS) i saw earlier, my Sea-Me
is still blinking but i cant see anything anywhere.
Back to a little reading, perhaps a movie and some house keeping.

Ciao
