A windless start and, following a visit from a lone dolphin, the wind filled in from the South building to in excess of 30 knots so again a fast and hectic reach as the front passed with a dramatic change from the warm to the cold side, with an almost 180 degree wind shift, torrential rain and then 30 knots from the other direction.
The wind continued at about 30 knots during the night driving us fast on the edge of the ice area, radar on in the hope it would pick up any big ice bergs.
