After fighting for half a week to regain 3rd place in the rankings i
have now been becalmed for the best part of the night with maximum
speeds topping 1 knot. There is a swell that makes setting sail
impossible, the boat rolls on the waves and everything slams so
violently it is incredibly painful to watch, taking sails down is
admitting defeat, and losing that little 0.5kt that i can sometimes
squeeze out. I dread looking at the polls, i bet i plummeted down the
rankings again... absolutely hating this.

Hang in there Marco, everyone is without wind and you seem to be holding your own. Just don't get cabin fever. Turdistan and FSA to the grand banks is starting to sound a bit shaky :)
