Easter shake down...

Dinah is finally fully compliant with the many many regulations that OSTAR demands. One of the last jobs was to put the identification numbers on the side of the hull and on the deck. The new mast has been fully tuned and the rigging is now seized. It seems to be much more powerful than the old rig, but that could be my imagination. Anyway, everything works so smoothly on the new mast it's actually easier to use. There was nothing left to do but go sailing for a few days over Easter and test all the new systems! The photo attached was taken on Easter Saturday in perfect conditions. Sunny, warm, and a steady 18knts breeze. I wonder will there be any days like that during OSTAR?
