Italian "Mama"s brought artichoke hearts to send their boys off to sea. The
only Irish "Mammy" brought the famous fruitcake...

So where did you get the crazy idea of butter (subst.?) on fruitcake? I thought that sort of thing only went on in Cornwall!!
