See my daughter preparing for her ISAF survival training?
After a farewell party on Friday I finally left for Nieuwpoort Belgium on Saturday morning. Anf that was much more difficult than I'd expected.
There they stood! The Daltons: Floris (7, 122cm), Wouter (4, 101cm) and little Alou (1, 86 cm). Lined up in front of my lovely and female Luck Luke.
"Will yo bring us a trophy, dad?", were their famous words. "No price, no glory! Sjon!", GeertjeMarije said. And I know she is serious when I'm called "Sjon".
I found leaving harder then ever, this time. But was also glad that the mission has begun!
It is good to be on board again. Sleep in my favourite bunk. Pee in a bottle. Prepare a powder-cappucino. Bump my head! Ouch!
Seatrial tomorrow (monday). Leave for Plymouth on tuesday! Seems to have a nice weather window for delivery.
Looks like we'll have a heavy beat out of the Channel after the start!?
Keep you posted!
Cheers JanKees
