John Falla and Banjaard enjoyed a final sail together before Banjaard was taken out of the water for the final preparations to be made prior to the 2009 OSTAR. The opportunity was taken to have some photographs taken by Tim Feak (www.timfeak.com) who has kindly donated a portfolio of photographs to the Banjaard publicity campaign to raise money for the two Cancer related charities that John is raising funds for. Thanks to Kevin Walsh for positioning Tim in the rib so expertly.
More details about John Falla, Banjaard, and the two very worthwhile charities John is supporting will be available shortly.
The chosen charities are:
The Institute of Cancer Research www.justgiving.com/2009ostar and the Guernsey Society for Cancer Relief.
If you enjoy this website why not make a donation to The Institute of Cancer Research. For more information visit our Charities page.

The current plan is that the technicoloured spinnaker (affectionately christened "Vomit" by the crew when they first saw the colour scheme) will remain at home. Spinnakers to be carried will be "Flossie" and "Alex", more details to follow.
