Dolphins are like London Buses

You have to have lived in London to understand this, but having spent 30 years trying to get a good, or frankly any decent picture of a dolphin, I ended up with this picture.

Hope you enjoy it.

Now I am ashore I will be putting a lot of pictures up on the blogsite, so please do revisit some of the older parts of the Blog.

Well done for completing the race. Glad you saw lots of Dolphins. What did you do on your first day on shore? Were you very rocky when you got on shore? Was Florence very happy to see you?

Dear Sophie H and Upper Prep,

Thank you for your kind thoughts and good wishes. The Dolphins were great as were the Pilot Whales. I am now convinced I heard a Right Whale on the day before the finish.

As soon as I got ashore we went back to the hotel and we all had a very good sleep-particularly me! I was surprised that I did not feel very rocky or wobbly when I landed.

Florence was very happy to see me, and we have had a lovely time since then.

Florence was asked to present flowers to the wife of the Commodore at the official prize giving on Saturday, which she did very well.

Reading about others, in particular those who are still sailng and having problems, and the person who was rescued over the weekend makes me realise how lucky I have been.

There are still lots of photographs to be uploaded, so do keep on coming back.

What a fantastic photo.. yep... I remember waiting for buses in Crouch End(!) ... none for ages... then three!! Now living near south coast... done comp crew - more to come...
