Good day, good day!

Today is such a nice day! If I had been doing the OSTAR 16 years ago I would be happily dashing around with a sextant to finally find my exact position. Instead of fearing a ship sighting, I would be radioing them up expectantly asking where the devil am I and could I have a weather forecast please?

Today it's a bit different. I can download 3 different weather forecasts, decide which one I like best and then make risky tactical decisions that I thought would pay off. Indeed, I was secretly chuffed when I heard that the northern fleet had come to a standstill while I maintained at least a good 4 knots of way. I guess this is karma! As i write the wind has disappeared, although I'm not gonna complain - glorious sunshine means that I can dry out my sleeping bag, kit, gloves, hats, Lumpy, fixing things is an optomistic mood due to the weather (vang - done, kicker - done (sorrta) fix main sail - done) I can take a few hours of calm, no more than that please weather Gods. IF not I will have to consider making the sacrifice - inspired by King Julian in Madagascar 2 - I make the sacrifice to the weather Gods... They eat the sacrifice... 'mmm, thanks, lovely sacrifice' then they give me favourable winds while keeping the sunshine and flat seas. I never ask for too much!

Anyway, I still reckon I'm in a pretty good spot. Had a few guys ringing to check I was okay coz I had strayed so far south - I'm a girl, need sun. Very chivalrous - thanks chaps.

Anyhoo onwards. Still a couple of things to do - refuel coz it's so flat and pleasant, tighten alternator belt on engine so it doesn't squeak and squeal. etc etc.

Hey Milz.... you make days at work far more exciting being able to check your progress on a regular basis and see what nutty blog you add next! :-)

Glad to see all is well, and the tan is coming along nicely...hope the wind keeps up and you sneak round south without a hitch.

The poem on the compass is quite apt really..."The Road Less Taken". Good work.

There with you all the way!

Well 1st i think i should appologise for not getting my arse in gear and making you the CD you requested. 2nd i should appologise for slightly inapropprate banter on launch day, however im sure deep down you were singing along.
How are my navigation aids doing? and how many DAVE!!'s have you found? there should be 5, your next blogg needs to include the 1s you have found.
We had an end of uni BBQ round at maggies house last night so i think most people have a sore head 2day, i even got to the stage were i was telling Giles my stripper story (how embarrasing).
i can see from the picks that your fuel is still onboard so im assuming mine and Terry's efforts have lasted? Did you check my bowline on your jib sheets? iv been waking up in cold sweats about that.
Remember chav night at kaos? your photo looks remarkably simular.

Looking good, what what! Are you sure your mid-atlantic and not in the Bahamams already? The picture makes the whole Ocean Adventurer look seem quite appealing!!

Can't believe you went for Madagascar 2 and not High school sing-a-long 4!

Well done on the repairs... keep on battling.. nearly there..ish... And don't go sacrificing Lumpy! who will you sing and dance to then.. its weird to perform to no audience!!!
