My best Sam Davis impersonation

Calm conditions and quiet all around called for a refreshing shower, the
water temperature is 12 degrees so not exactly a grand-hotel hot steamy
business but really refreshing and enlivening. Armed with bucket and
salt water shampoo i showered in the cockpit wity sea water, and changed
to fresh clothes.

I sent you a little snap, it probably wont attract as much interest as
Sam Davis showering in the trade winds in a bikini during the Vendee but
hey, whatsa mada' you, gotta no resptecta, itsa notso bad, ah....

Today was a very quiet day, after speaking to Uwe on FanFan who is still
in sight behind me but catching up on his aluminium spaceship with
bubble eyes, a little gentle air finally arrived to allow us to move our
parked homes away from this rather boring parking space, not even a tree
in sight!
I'm under spinnaker doing some 4 or 5 knots but there is a nasty counter
current, stronger than you'd expected right here, almost a knot on the
nose, another reason why i made negative progress overnight, just
drifting back to the UK.

i had home made hartichoke hearts in olive oil prepared by my
friend luca's mother, delicious, and some wild rice and beef for lunch,
now is the time for un espresso and a pennica [nap].
