This is my first post on this or any other blog, which just might qualify me for the ancient mariner award. In any event, Rubicon is launched and I am feverishly focused on getting away from the dock this weekend. We should be passing the finish line about an hour after departure, though we do have a very long way to go to the start line. I have a fine crew and we expect to arrive in Plymouth by the middle of May. In preparation for getting ‘into the zone’ of full race mode, I have only packed one pair of pajamas.
