Hi All,
Making good steady progress in SSE winds. Have been all day and night to be
honest. Went under the biggest thunderstorm I have ever experienced. Lots of
forked lightening, huge loud long claps of thunder. It rained like it would
never stop.
As the storm got close I took down the kite and prepared for a major set of
gusts. In the event there as almost no change in the wind - noting to worry
about at all.
About 200 miles to go. The wind is a bit more southerly and just too shy for
the kite. So making 7-7.5kts under white sails. If this wind continues as
forecast I should be on a reach all the way to Newport.
