Anne Caseneuve has entered the 13 edition of the OSTAR with the ambition of becoming the first woman to win this legendary race. Her palmares will have every other entrant in shivers, a very experienced professional offshore sailor with 30 atlantic crossings under her belt!
Anne is a tough breton and record woman, on the podium of the Route du Rhum in 1998 she established the record for fastest solo west to east crossing of the north atlantic in 2002, fastest 24 hours run in 2002 and 2003, she took part to the Transat Jacque Vabre in 2003 and 2005 when she set a new record for fastest woman around guadalupe on her 50ft tri.
Anne's entry is on the paper certainly the strongest entry of the race, but let's not forget the old adagio, to win you must finish and the die is never cast till you are moored in Newport.
